VETS Securing America (VSA) is seeking qualified Armed School Security Officers to provide security services in a healthcare environment. Candidates must be professional, dependable, and capable of maintaining a calm and effective presence in high-stress situations.
Minimum Requirements

Valid Level III (Commissioned Armed Security Officer) License issued by the State of Texas
Minimum 2 years of healthcare security experience
Minimum 2 years of customer service experience
Law enforcement or military experience preferred
Ability to remain calm in stressful environments
Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods

Required Equipment
Applicants must possess and carry:

Full-size duty-rated firearm chambered in:
- 9mm
- .40 caliber
- .45 caliber
Duty ammunition (hollow point)
Level II or higher retention holster
Minimum of 3 magazines
Certified less-lethal option (OC Gel, baton, or Axon Taser)
Duty belt secured to under-belt with belt keepers
All equipment carried in appropriate retention holsters

Strong verbal communication skills
Ability to interact professionally with the public
Calm decision-making under pressure
Accurate report writing
Ability to work effectively with security leadership and local law enforcement
