Paid Social Intern

Beam makes clean, science-backed wellness products for people who want to feel their best without compromise. Paid social is one of our main growth channels, and our team moves quickly, tests constantly and lets performance data guide creative decisions.  

The Role
We're looking for a detail-oriented, analytical intern to join our paid social team. Reporting to our Paid Social Manager, you'll focus on two things: Setting up Meta ads accurately and pulling performance data to find insights that shape what we test next. You'll leave with hands-on experience in both the setup and the analysis sides of performance marketing through paid social channels.

 

What You'll Do
Ad launches

• Build and launch Meta ads. Set up campaigns, ad sets and ads in Meta Ads Manager, including audiences, placements, copy, UTMs and naming conventions.
• QA every launch. Check links, copy, creative specs and tracking before ads go live.
• Prep assets for launch. Receive final creative from our agency partners, confirm it meets platform specs and feedback has been addressed.

Data pulls & insights

• Pull performance data. Pull regular reports on key metrics such as spend, CTR, CPA, ROAS, and others from Meta and our analytics tools.
• Turn data into insights. Spot trends in what's working and what isn't (hooks, formats, messages, audiences) and summarize them clearly for the team.
• Track creative tests. Keep our testing log up to date and document results so learnings carry into the next round of creative.

What We're Looking For

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Strong interest in paid social and performance marketing
• Very detail-oriented. You catch the broken link or wrong UTM before it goes live.
• Comfortable with spreadsheets (Google Sheets or Excel), including pivot tables and basic formulas
• Analytical mindset: you like finding the "why" behind the numbers and can explain it simply

Nice to Have

• Hands-on experience with Meta Ads Manager (personal, school or freelance projects count)
• Familiarity with creative analytics or reporting tools (e.g., Motion, GA4)
• Interest in wellness, beauty or DTC brands
